REVIEW: If you are looking for a book where characters grow up with you, going on with the books and for a shelter and second family, you found the right book!
That is a really short summary of my feelings for this series. I’ve heard of Harry Potter books since I was at school, but I always avoid it because at that time, most of children that I knew, read it only because it was a trend. I really hated things like this.
But growing up, instead of going on with my indifference for this book I’ve started it during the high school. I’m not ashamed to say that I started Harry Potter series three years ago, when I was sixteen. I really would have read it earlier! But I think that the waiting worth it, because I found a shelter and friends during a period of troubles with my own friends. It was my shelter to problems and sometimes it really helped me, I have to admit it!
Specifically talking about this first book,I enjoy most of all the characters and they’re relation, I immediately identify myself with both Ron and Hermione. With Ron because whatever is going on, I have to admit, I always eat (maybe it would be more evident going on and also in the films!), talking seriously, his a loyal friend to Hermione and Harry, I also have to stress that they’re friend of Harry despite he’s famous or rich. As Hermione, I use to be very good at school and some time annoying, but as her I use it to hide my insecurity.
You will be pleased to become a part of this family. You will meet new friends and you will gain a new home.
I adore how Joanne writes. I really admires how,even though it was classified as a children’s book, she has never used a presumed language, but a lexicon sometimes sought.
She has the power to stupefy you with an entire new world of magic, spells, potions, friendship, enemies and adventures.
I don’t want to be too heavy, so most of all, who don’t want to receive his/her letter for Hogwarts and take his ride on the Hogwarts Express, cast spells and have fantastic adventures?
Twenty publisher refused to print Harry Potter at first, so don’t be so cruel with yourself and don’t let people shatter your dreams and keep it doing what you love! (thoughts of an unordinary soul)
