SYNOPSIS: Harry Potter receives an ominous warning from Dobby -an house-elf : if he returns at Hogwarts at the end of the summer, something terrible will happen. But Harry must return.
His second year begins with a new Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher -the famous Gilderoy Lockhart, Quidditch training and the intensification of old rivaleries.
Then the warning starts to ring true, as mysterious words appear on the walls of the school that warn that the Chamber of Secrets has been opened and that the heir of Slytherin would kill all who do not come from all-magical families,
Students are attacked and petrified, Ron’s sister- Ginny- disappears. And so the search for Salazar Slytherin’s heir begins, with the mystery pointing Harry to a clandestine chamber and a deadly creature at its heart…
REVIEW: Second chapter of this amazing series. We’re always at Hogwarts, but something has changed in regards to the first year. Something mysterious is happening between the walls of the schools. Mud-bloods are petrified and new things of the past are discovered by the trio.
On the Chamber of Secrets we can read new adventures and new characters coming in. First of all Gilderoy Lockhart, the new Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher, that I have to say, differently from the girls in the book, I didn’t bear him most of the time. He’s the typical man who wants to be famous at any cost.
Then Dobby, of course! I always imagine him as a tiny creature with big eyes, but really brave! (Go Dobby!) He’s a house- elf who works for Malfoy’s family, but thanks to Harry he will be free!
Then we can see more about Hagrid’s past in the school and about Aragog. We also know the start of the story of Tom Riddle, thanks to his diary.
Something I would really be involved in,would surely be the making of Polyjuice Potion! I was so excited while reading it and I was always looking forward the end of the making!
I surely have to talk about the death-day party of Sir Nicholas, maybe you wouldn’t be involved in and stuck among putrefied food, but I think you would be honoured to be invited in such important events!

What to say? Always new adventures that you will never be tired of re-reading it. Fluent story and new hints for the final puzzle to be solved.
