HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS

SYNOPSIS: Harry is waiting in Privet Drive. The Order of the Phoenix is coming to escort him safely away without Voldemort and his supporters knowing – if they can. But what will Harry do then? How can he fulfil the momentous and seemingly impossible task that Professor Dumbledore has left him?

REVIEW: We left the Half Blood Prince with the death of Dumbledore and we start the Deathly Hallows with the Dark Lord ascending in the Wizarding World. Now Harry, Ron and Hermione have to manage with the most dangerous task of their entire lives, find the horcruxes and save all the Wizarding World from the Dark Lord and his fellows.

When the Dursley’s leave Harry at Privet Drive at the beginning you can’t really forget how Dudley at the bottom has grown up and understand, when he said to Harry: “I don’t think you’re a waste of space.“, my heart really smiled. 

But before the beginning of the dangerous task for the trio, Harry has to leave Privet Drive. With the help of the Order of the Phoenix and of the seven Potter, Harry leaves his aunt’s house. The journey would not be simple as they thought. Death Eaters knew that Harry was leaving and attacked the fellows. Arrived at the Burrow, the fellowship count his loss. Hedwig and Mad-Eye were killed and George lost an ear.

Despite the dark times, Bill and Fleur are going to marry at the Burrow. But before the event, Scrimgeour comes at the Burrow to read the last will of Dumbledore: to Ron the Deluminator, to Hermione the book of “The tales of Beedle the Bard” and to Harry the Gryffindor’s sword and his first Golden Snitch. But in simple objects like this, there’s something hidden at the sight! Remember it!

During the wedding arrive the news that the Ministry has fallen, Scrimgeour was killed and the Death Eaters were coming. In the chaos Hermione finds his two friends and they leave. Here starts the very adventurous and dangerous task of the trio.

I don’t want to spoil you the book, you ave to read it! But sometimes I can’t stop writing! So the adventures goes on. Without any hints, the trio start the Horcruxes’ search. It would be an adventure different from the other books. The three friends won’t be all the time very happy together.

I want to remark the importance of Kreacher and Dobby, the amount of help that they give to them. At the end, the trio will find and destroy all the horcruxes, but we have to remark all the help they got, from friends and not.

You have waited for all this time for a moment of Ron and Hermione, it worth it! Finally a kiss, those are my favourite couple! Maybe the kiss, as Harry said, wasn’t in the best moment, a war was going on!

I loved this series. I have to admit that at the start, when it was published I swore I won’t have read it! Look where I am now! I have to thank my sister and my best friend, who encouraged me at reading it. Most of all I have to thank Joanne who wrote this fantastic series and my fellow characters with their adventures, who accompanies me through some troubles and for being my shelters!
